COVID-19 PCR TESTING
PCR is currently the gold standard for the diagnosis of COVID-19 in terms of sensitivity and specificity. This test is performed by trained scientists in the laboratory setting using specialised equipment. PCR Covid testing is widely used for diagnosis, travel and hospital admissions.
PCR tests have a turnaround time of 18 hours (testing option dependant) and are available through Testaro Mobile Health, through their Mobile Testing service that is offered in Johannesburg, Pretoria and Cape Town.
All international travellers arriving or departing from ports of entry must produce a negative COVID-19 test, recognized by the World Health Organisation, obtained not more than 48 or 72 hours before the date of travel.
Inception Biosciences’ test reports are fully travel complaint and contain a unique QR code that can be scanned by port authorities for verification.
